Easter Holiday Traveling #4

Hello lovelies!

I hope you are all well and are enjoying the great weather. I've finally picked up some motivation to tackle the task of going through all my pictures that I took during my week in Cornwall! And believe me it's not an easy task, since I kinda went crazy with taking pictures. So without further ado here are some snapshots I took in my week in Cornwall!

Be warned: very picture-heavy post! I'm sorry in advance if it's too much!

On the first day in Cornwall we went to visit the Eden Project in St. Austell. I've seen pictures of this before, but believe me it's soo much more impressive in real life! There are two artificial Biomes that have loads of different plants and flowers from all around the world. One Biome has a tropical climate and the other one has a mediterranean. We spent nearly all day in the Eden Project as there is so much too see and explore!

I just can't get over how pretty and colorful the flowers were! Amazing!

For diner that day we had real cornish pasties by the sea front in Fowey! Just look at this view:

The next day it was raining for most of the time unfortunately, but we still decided to go and see the mysterious and beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan!

My favourite part there was probably the "Jungle". So beautiful and a great photo opportunity!

And I've also had my first Cornish Cream Tea in the cafe! YUMMY!

We also went to see the St. Mawes Castle where you had a lovely view over the sea! But don't be fooled it was really windy and cold!

Our next day trip took us to St. Michael's Mount! The castle is situated in the sea and you can either reach it with a boat, or if the tide hasn't come in you can also walk on a stone path to the island!

As you can see the gardens were also quite unusual, just beneath the castle!

Later that day we went to see the Minack Theater which can be described with just one word: incredible! I mean just have a look at it! Standing there and looking down at the turquoise sea, I felt more like I were in Greece than in England! I actually thought I was on the set of Mamma Mia! haha

And to make this place even more special, we also got to watch "The Barefoot Poet" (he's doing a Charity project) recite some of his poems.

To finish the day off, we went to Senne Cove, one of the most western parts of Cornwall to watch the sunset! Amazing!

The next day, a thursday we decided to do a sporty program! We hired some bikes and cycled along the Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow and back again - a total of 11 miles ugh It was really exhausting but we had a beautiful view from the top of the hill!

Friday we spent the whole day at the Lansallos Beach. My feet in the sand, the sound of waves in my ears, nose in a good book and my life's complete!

And to finish off this lovely day and also the holiday we went to a pub in Polperro where we had a great view into the habour while eating fish n chips!

I honestly had the best time in Cornwall and looking back at these pictures is just so wonderful! I'm so grateful that I have the opportunity to go and see so many different places in my year in England!

I really hope you enjoyed this (picture overloaded) blog post! I for sure did enjoy putting it together!

This will be my last installment for this "Easter Holiday Traveling" photo series. I hope you enjoyed it. I might do something similar in the future if you'd like me to!

In the comments below please let me know if you have ever been to any of these places before! I'd love to hear what you thought about this as well!

Have a lovely day,

xx Ann-Kathrin
